Janet Dailey creates a tough and appealing heroine in Delaney Wescott, a security expert with a glamourous actor-rock star as a client. Sexy Lucas Wayne is running scared after his ex-wife, Rina Cole, shoots him, believing him responsible for her sinking career. Delaney accompanies him to his home in Aspen, where she must fend off his advances, in addition to keeping an eye out for the furious Rina.
